IFP Project Forum
July 26th, 2018
The IFP (Independent Film Project) in New York has selected Refusing to Ghost for their Project Forum: Spotlight on Documentaries.
IFP Week is the oldest and largest forum in the U.S. for the discovery of new projects in development from both established filmmakers and new voices on the independent scene.
We are very honored and grateful to be a part of their 40th Anniversary. Read more here:
Berlinale Talents: Doc Station
Refusing to Ghost is one of ten documentaries-in-progress selected from around the world for the Berlinale Doc Station. Over the course of the film festival, we will have the opportunity to workshop the project with mentors and colleagues.
American Documentary Film Festival Film Fund
Refusing to Ghost has won a funding award from the 2017 AmDocs Film Fund Pitch Competition! We showed our 3 minute teaser and pitched the film to a panel of industry judges and the festival has honored us with their support. This award will help pay for our film transfer and begin an edit. It also is great encouragement to keep moving forwards with this project. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point.
